This course is for academics seeking an outlet for surplus material that cannot be readily incorporated in academic writing. You will learn how to write original, well-made, and vivid poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction. You will be equipped with craft tools and methods, and have the opportunity to think about the conceptual possibilities of those tools. Together we will practice how to, as the poet CD Wright says, “see feelingly.” This one-week course (maximum 12 places) will meet every day for up to three hours a day, including breaks. It will include feedback on your writing.
